Rapid evaluation practitioner (REP) programme
Are you a GDP interested in research but don’t know where to start? Then why not consider becoming a Rapid Evaluation Practitioner (REP) with SDPBRN. As a REP, you will be part of a core team of GDPs who will be the first practitioners offered the opportunity to participate in SDPBRN research and policy-related projects. Most of the time, this will involve a survey or perhaps a brief telephone interview to ask about your practice, experiences, or opinions on a given topic. Surveys and interviews will normally take less than 30 minutes and all we ask is for a voluntary commitment of up to four hours over the course of 12 months.
PhD or vocational dental practitioner
Are you a PhD student or VDP interested in research but not sure how to realise your ideas? SDPBRN are currently supporting several PhD students and have supported VDPs recently to realise such ideas. From obtaining the necessary approvals for a clinical trial to guiding you through data analysis, the PBRN can provide you with the support you require to show that you can combine practice and research on a daily basis.
