Scaling the heights and probing the depths in the 21st century, Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Friday, 1 December 2017
Friday 1st December 2017 saw a collaborative event with the Scottish Dental Practice Based Research Network (SDPBRN) and the NIHR HTA IQuaD Trial entitled, Scaling the heights and probing the depths in the 21st century.
This was a full day event exploring the role of evidence in a changing NHS dental care system and dissemination of the results of the National Institute for Health Research Health Technology Assessment (NIHR HTA) IQuaD Scale & Polish Trial at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
The Scottish CDO, Margie Taylor, opened the day to a fully engaged audience of over 100 delegates. Jan Clarkson chaired the day with presentations from: Anne-Marie Glenny (University of Manchester); Anne Duncan (University of Aberdeen); Giles McCracken (University of Newcastle), Fraser Mulford (GDP from Dundee), Thomas Lamont (University of Dundee); Beatriz Goulao (University of Aberdeen); Dwayne Boyers (University of Aberdeen) and from the IQuaD Outcome Assessors Jill Gouick and Kirsty Sim.
